UAE
From Computer History Wiki
UAE is a portable emulator for the Commodore Amiga platform. UAE is written in the C programming language, and is available for a wide variety of operating systems.
In order to run UAE, you'll want an image of an Amiga's ROMs (from an Amiga 500), and a disk image of a workbench diskette, or some game. Note that neither Macintosh nor IBM PCs can read AmigaDOS floppies, so you will have to transfer them from an Amiga to a PC.
UAE is primarily geared to emulating an Amiga 500, however later versions add support for a 68020 CPU and the ECS chipset. On what would be considered 'low end machines' today (1GHz, 1GB of RAM) a Commodore Amiga 500 can easily be emulated, with full stereo sound.
