IMP interface

A device attached to an ARPANET host to communicate with an IMP. The communication interface is specified in BBN Report 1822.

  • MIT KA IMP, used by MIT-AI, ML, and MC.
  • ACC LH/DH, UNIBUS.

  • SRI DR11C, QBUS.
  • GIMPSPIF, used by 645 Multics.
  • ABSI, used by 6180 Multics.
