'Throughput rate'

'Throughput' usually implies a rate? So 'throughput rate' is somewhat redundant (like 'velocity speed' :-). Can we just use 'Throughput' for the caption? Jnc (talk) 17:05, 14 August 2023 (CEST)

I used genuine DEC speak - the wording "throughput rate" was taken from the "Digital Storage Technology Handbook", pages 5-74 and 5-75. But nevertheless you're right - in German we call it "doppelt gemoppelt", so I'll change it to just "throughput". Vaxorcist (talk) 22:27, 14 August 2023 (CEST)
