The '''MRV11-D Universal Programmable Read-Only Memory''' was a [[QBUS]] [[read-only memory|ROM]] card. It held up to sixteen 28-[[pin]] [[integrated circuit|chips]]; these could be either ROMs/[[PROM]]s/[[EPROM]]s (of up to 8-bit x 32K size), or [[static RAM]]s. It thus held up to 512KB when fully populated. Configuration is done with a combination of [[jumper]]s and two [[DIP switch]]es.

The entire ROM contents were either directly visible on the QBUS, or through two independent 2KB windows (somewhat like later, larger [[UNIBUS]] ROM cards). The MRV11-A was a [[DEC card form factor|dual]]-height card, the '''M8578'''.
