The '''PDP-X''' was a proposed 16-[[bit]] [[minicomputer]] from [[Digital Equipment Corporation|DEC]] from 1967-68; DEC elected to go with what became the [[PDP-11]] instead.

A canard exists that Edson DeCastro, one of the founders of [[Data General]], left DEC when the PDP-X was cancelled (this part may be kind of true), and the PDP-X design became the [[Data General Nova|Nova]]; the Nova was quite different from the PDP-X, though.
