<p>Why the page name is the singular form</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>==Plural==<br /> <br /> The page name is singular (&#039;number&#039;) and not the more natural plural (&#039;numbers&#039;) because it is easy to link from a plural form, one only has to add an &#039;s&#039; outside the link - &#039;&lt;nowiki&gt;[[DEC part number]]s&lt;/nowiki&gt;&#039; - and Mediawiki does the Right Thing, viz. [[DEC part number]]s. Linking to a plural name from a singular is harder, one would have to do &#039;&lt;nowiki&gt;[[DEC part numbers|DEC part number]]&lt;/nowiki&gt;&#039;, which is clunky.
