This doesn't make much sense (the TX01 will be slower than the TX02, which does work on the DX20), but maybe it's just that they never tested that combo? Or perhaps the TX01 uses something in the channel that was later deprecated, and the DX20 doesn't support? It does makes sense that the [[TU72]] won't work with the TX01, it's a faster drive, and also uses a new kind of encoding.
