Which class are 750's in?

New page

==Classification?==

As the last step in my 'VAX organization project', we need to decide if we consider a 750 a minicomputer, or the same class as a 780 (whatever you want to call that class - I know you don't like 'super-mini', which is why I just used "same class as a 780")?

The 750s seem to me to be fairly close to the boundary between those two classes, and I would value another opinion! [[User:Jnc|Jnc]] ([[User talk:Jnc|talk]]) 18:25, 11 August 2024 (CEST)

: I would consider the 750 a "Mini" as well. A single relatively low enclosure and no need for 3-phase power as well as a competitive price/power ratio combined with (relative) low noise level made it a Mini of its time.
