DX11-B System 360/370 Channel to PDP-11 Unibus Interface

The DX11-B System 360/370 Channel to PDP-11 Unibus Interface connects a UNIBUS PDP-11 to a selector, multiplexer or block multiplexer channel on an IBM 360 or 370 or compatible machine. It can emulate (from the point of view of the 360/370) either a 2848 display, or a 2703 or 3705 communications controller. On the PDP-11 side, DMA is used to transfer data.
Like many of the early large device controllers for the PDP-11, it was a large custom wire-wrapped backplane bolted into the front of a 6' tall 19" inch H960 rack; into it plugged a large number of small M-Series FLIP CHIPs.
