M7546 TQK50 card

The TQK50 Tape Drive Controller is a QBUS device controller for the TK50 magnetic tape drive. It uses TMSCP.

It is a dual board, the M7546; data is transferred to the host using DMA.

It contains an Intel 80186 microprocessor, along with on-board static RAM and PROM chips; a 7201 Multi-Protocol Serial Controller is used to communicate with the drive.

Two LEDs on the top edge of the card, controlled by the 80186, indicate the status of the TQK50, including the outcome of diagnostics.
