::: If it was trashed (either literally, or recycled), I'd still be gob-smacked (to carefully pick a word that does not imply dis-belief, just astonishment). Even if ''they'' didn't want it, I'm sure ''someone'' would have - an interest that could have been tuned into cash. I don't know any details. Maybe User:Toresbe does? Larsbrinkhoff (talk) 20:44, 1 November 2020 (CET)
I asked him if the PDP-7 has been destroyed, and he replied "To my great sorrow, this is almost certainly true. It simply disappeared from the computer science building when the new one was opened." Larsbrinkhoff (talk) 07:44, 10 November 2020 (CET)
If it was trashed (either literally, or recycled), I'd still be gob-smacked (to carefully pick a word that does not imply dis-belief, just astonishment). Even if they didn't want it, I'm sure someone would have - an interest that could have been tuned into cash. Such an action would be like finding a bunch of Euro 100 notes, and throwing them on a fire because they're just 'paper trash'. Jnc (talk) 18:00, 15 November 2020 (CET)
