More labs?
I gather CMU was also quite early in the AI lab game, but somehow I never heard much about that one. Larsbrinkhoff (talk) 07:45, 9 August 2023 (CEST)
- I never heard much (anything?) about it back in the day. Which is not to say that it was not happening; just that I was not aware of it. I was vaguely aware that there was AI work going on elsewhere than just MIT and Stanford (maybe Yale?), but no details. But of course, I was not working in that technical area, so not too surprising.
- In fact, we at MIT called the MIT lab just 'the AI lab', and the other one 'SAIL' (or maybe 'Stanford'). I have no idea what the people elsewhere called the MIT one. Jnc (talk) 12:19, 9 August 2023 (CEST)
