VS40X-PA 8-plane GPX graphics option module, used in DEC VAXstation 2000 and VAXstation 3100 computers.
The VS40X-PA has got 8 planes and supports a resolution of 1024 x 864 60Hz.
There is a VS40-MA variant with 4 planes only.
Both the VS40X-PA and the VS40X-MA are software-compatible with the VCB02 Video Controller.
