The Term-Mite ST Smart Terminal is a video terminal board project from Steve Ciarcia (in his Circuit Cellar column). It uses the National Semiconductor NS405 Terminal Management Processor integrated circuit (the prototype used the sibling NS455 chip).

It supported a 24x80 display, and an EIA RS-232 serial line interface. The TMP produces separate vertical and horizontal sync signals, along with intensity; the Term-Mite combines these to produce a composite video output.

It was available either as a complete kit (US$239), or a finished board (US$279). The buyer was expected to provide a CRT, keyboard and case.

The source code for the firmware is available here.
