Subcategories

This list of operating systems is becoming unwieldy. Maybe create subcategories by vendor like the one for DEC, and also by machine? Larsbrinkhoff (talk)

Definitely!
Also, one wouldn't tag individual page with the Category:Operating Systems category, it would just contain (recursively) all the other sub-categories - the way Category:UNIBUS Storage Controllers is included in both Category:UNIBUS Peripherals and Category:DEC Storage Controllers, so one only has to tag individual pages with the one sub-category, and then it shows up in all the right categories.
