: Yes, I only drew in the "I/O-CPU" bays in the most cursory way. I only drew in the two wide (I forget the exact width; it'll be in the PDP-10 documentation) cabinets, and left out the two 19-1/2" cabinets (one on each end). The one on the right is standard in KL10's; it always holds the boot front end. The drawing is actually accurate for the two wide bays; the CPU (Ebox and Mbox) is in the right-hand one; the left hand one holds the DMA20 and DIA20, and all the connectors associated therewith (I guess technically the DMA20 isn't "I/O", though). No RH20s on MC (they would be in that cabinet in a 'normal' KL10). Jnc (talk) 12:47, 15 August 2024 (CEST)

Missing DF10

I sent Stephen Jones the photos. He says there's also a DF10C by the DL10. Larsbrinkhoff (talk) 07:54, 30 May 2024 (CEST)

Yes; I had worked out from the images uploaded at the CHM that there was a DF10 next to the TM10; you can see them both in this image. (I forget which is which, but if you look at the manuals for the two, their indicator panels are quite different, so it's easy to tell.) If you look at ITS machine configurations#MC KL10, you can see it's listed there.
I hadn't bothered to update the diagram, as Special:WhatLinksHere/File:MC-KL_Layout.jpg shows it's not used in any articles - should I? (I think I did a reasonable job on it, going only from memory - I even got the T-300's in the right place! I wonder if the TU41 got moved to the center to make room for the 2nd+3rd T-300's? I have a definite memory of it being in the middle.) Jnc (talk) 14:20, 30 May 2024 (CEST)

KL-UDGE

According to photos (https://www.computerhistory.org/collections/catalog/102803897) that came up earlier this year, the KL-UDGE should be "south" of CPU and I/O. Larsbrinkhoff (talk) 09:17, 15 August 2024 (CEST)

Yes, I only drew in the "I/O-CPU" bays in the most cursory way.
