General Electric Company

General Electric Company (usually referred to by the acronym, GEC) was a British conglomerate (not to be confused with the American company of almost the identical name) in the electrical engineering field, principally of consumer items. In 1967, it acquired AEI. It is the parent company of GEC Computers.
