The Diagnostic Runtime Services (DRS) are an extension of the XXDP monitor. For certain types of diagnostic programs, commonly referred to as "DRS compatible", DRS provides non-diagnostic function support including:

  • Standard operator interface
  • Error message formatting
  • Control of diagnostic
