You might not know the 'back story' behind part of the above. At several points, Harvard tried to get MIT to become part of Harvard, as its Science/Engineering department. (This really happened.) So the story at MIT (not sure if this actually happened in real life) is that MIT counter-offered, to have Harvard become MIT's humanities department... :-) Jnc (talk) 14:22, 25 April 2018 (CEST)
