Epsilon

Epsilon is an Emacs type screen editor text editor for IBM-compatible PC. It is similar to Emacs not only in its default key bindings, but also in the fact that it has a Turing-complete extension programming language in which much of its functionality is implemented. That extension language, EEL (Epsilon Extension Language), is, however, a dialect of C, not LISP as in GNU Emacs.

It originally ran under MS-DOS (it was produced very early on in the life of the PC, long before GNU Emacs was written), and later Windows. It is still sold and supported; it is now also available for Linux, macOS, FreeBSD, and OS/2.
