Mark I or Mark 1
I can't find a scan of a contemporary document showing which the builders preferred. However, Turing's manual for the Ferranti Mark 1, which we do have, calls it the "Mark II"; which strongly implies, to me, that he called the original the 'Mark I'. Perhaps needless to say, if that was good enough for Turing, it's good enough for me! Jnc (talk) 23:14, 13 March 2024 (CET)
