Intel 4040

The Intel 4040 microprocessor was developed as a successor to the Intel 4004 and was object-code compatible, but with more instructions and features. Even though the 4004 was from 1971 and the 4040 from 1974 the 4040 executed at 740kHz, same as the 4004.
