The '''KG11-A Exclusive-OR and CRC Block Check Option''' is a [[UNIBUS]] [[co-processor]] which can calculate a number of different [[cyclic redundancy check|CRCs]] for use in [[data communication]] links. Data is transferred to and from the KG11 using [[programmed I/O]].

The CRC computations it supports are:

* LRC-8 = X<sup>8</sup> + 1 
* LRC-16 = X<sup>16</sup> + 1 
* CRC-16 = X<sup>16</sup> + X<sup>15</sup> + X<sup>2</sup> + 1 
* CRC-12 = X<sup>12</sup> + X<sup>11</sup> + X<sup>3</sup> + X<sup>2</sup> + X + 1 
* CRC-CCITT = X<sup>16</sup> + X<sup>12</sup> + X<sup>5</sup> + 1

The KG11 is a single [[DEC card form factor|quad]] card.
