There's a claim the PLATO plasma display was invented in 1964. This is probably true for the underlying technology, but not a useful 512x512 display. For the purpose of this wiki page, maybe 1972 would be more appropriate; see e.g. https://www.historyofinformation.com/detail.php?id=2430 Larsbrinkhoff (talk) 09:13, 16 September 2021 (CEST)
