The Xerox 860 Information Processing System (usually referred to as the Xerox 860 IPs) was a very early workstation from Xerox.

It came with custom software from Xerox, including a WYSIWYG screen editor, but CP/M, and applications which ran under it, were also available.

The CPU was an Intel 8085. The 860 came standard with 96KB of main memory; it could optionally be increased to 128KB. It came with a CRT video display, which could display up to 70 lines, of 102 characters each. Secondary storage was two 8" floppy disk drives. A Diablo printer could be shared between several 860's. Ethernet was also supported.
