Pedestal-mounted DECserver 550 with front cover installed

The DECserver 500 series is a line of DECnet terminal server devices from DEC; models in the line are 500, 510 and 550. They are housed in a BA213 S-Box QBUS enclosure, and include:

Pedestal-mounted DECserver 550 with front cover removed
DECserver 550 nameplate

The DECserver 500 series does not store configuration or firmware locally; rather, they are down-line loaded from a DECnet server through the Ethernet interface, using the DECnet MOP protocol.
