Fortran, better known as a "FORmula TRANslator". It's primary use was in Scientific and Engineering disciplines.

There have been several popular versions of Fortran, namely:
- FORTRAN 66
- FORTRAN 77
- FORTRAN 90
- FORTRAN 95
