Century Data Systems was a manufacturer of mass storage peripherals for the OEM market; their multi-platter large disk drives were particularly popular. Originally independent, from 1968 they became a subsidiary of California Computer Products (under whose name many of their best-known products were sold); they were later sold to Xerox in 1977.
Among their more successful products were the CalComp Model 215 Disk Drive and the Trident disk drives.
