The MX10 Memory Multiplexer for the PDP-10 allows several DF10 Data Channels or DX10 Data Channels to share access to a PDP-10 Memory Bus, and thus, to the multi-port memory banks to which it is connected. (PDP-10 memory banks have a limited number of ports; hence the need for the MX10 in larger PDP-10 systems.)
