Stanford or SRI?

There's some confusion about where these things came from. The existing document is a Stanford University publication (from the "Digital Systems Laboratory - Departments of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science") but the ones we got at MIT came from SRI (IIRC we got them as bare boards, and had to stuff them ourselves). And I see that others attributed it to SRI back then. Certainly the TIU thing was all from SRI (as was the Port Expander, early versions of which also used this interface).

I guess it's possible that it was originally done at DSL, and then later 'spun off' to SRI. Anyway, I have labelled it 'Stanford' as i) that's where the original design was done, ii) SRI 'kind of' falls under that umbrella. Jnc (talk) 13:42, 21 October 2021 (CEST)
