The MLSI-BA11-200 from MDB Systems is a third-party QBUS chassis (including backplane and power supply) offering that is fully compatible with DEC QBUS dual-height cards, and some quad-height cards. It includes an eight-slot quad height Q/Q backplane. Original backplanes appear to be Q18 only, but can be wire-wrapped to Q22.

A small PDP-11/03 style front panel is provided, with typical RUN/HALT, RESET, and LTC switches. There are indicators for DC OK and RUN. The RUN lamp is actually an illuminated push-button switch, and doubles as the RESET switch.

The bare MLSI-BA11-200 configuration does not contain a LTC, bus termination, power-fail detect/sequencing, or even an interface to the front panel lamps and switches. These functions are provided by the MLSI-SMU, which is a dual-height QBUS card. The MLSI-SMU also provides a pseudo-switch register.
