A 1660 Modem

The 1660 was a 300 baud modem primarily for the Commodore 64. What made the 1660 'interesting' is that it needed an audio cable from the host computer to generate the DTMF to dial, as it could not dial on its own.

The 1660 shipped with a basic terminal program, and the Quantum link software package for the predecessor to AOL.
