The M9300 UNIBUS B Terminator is a terminator for a UNIBUS which does not have an arbitrating processor (such as the B UNIBUS of an RH11). In addition to the functions of a normal UNIBUS terminator, it can optionally also generate an NPG bus grant in response to an NPR. When performing this function, it must be placed at the start of the UNIBUS (since the UNIBUS bus grant lines are run in serial fashion, from the head of the bus).
The M9300 is a dual format card, intended for use in the two top (AB) sections of a MUD slot, or in a UNIBUS in/out slot (normally the first, so that it may source grants).
