A DEUNA board set.

The Digital Ethernet UNIBUS Network Adapter (usual name DEUNA) was DEC's first UNIBUS to Ethernet network interface. It consisted of two hex boards:

  • M7792 PORT MODULE
  • M7793 LINK MODULE

connected by a pair of BC08R flat cables. (The manual advises that BC08S cables may be used instead of the BC08R's.) The M7792 used a T-11 chip to perform some functions; the Ethernet transceiver is connected to the M7793.
