The VAXstation 8000 is a high-end graphics workstation using a microprocessor VAX. Using a custom graphics co-processor from Evans and Sutherland, it can "manipulate complex 3-D graphic objects in realtime". It appears to be a VAX 8250 with additional components; it is built around a VAXBI bus.
