KY11 consoles

A KY11 is usually a front panel on a UNIBUS PDP-11; generally each different model (OEM and end-user variants such as the PDP-11/35 and PDP-11/40 are not truly different models, since their hardware is identical) has a unique one, with the exception of the PDP-11/04 and PDP-11/34, which share a design. They are:

• KY11-A for the KA11 CPU of the PDP-11/20
• KY11-B operator's console for the KC11 CPU of the PDP-11/15
• KY11-C programmer's console for the KC11 CPU of the -11/15
• KY11-D for the KD11-A CPU of the PDP-11/40
• KY11-J for the KD11-B CPU of the PDP-11/05
• The KD11-D CPU of the -11/04 and the KD11-E/KD11-EA of the -11/34 can have either:
  • KY11-LA Operator's Console
  • KY11-LB Programmer's Console
• KY11-P for the KD11-K CPU of the PDP-11/60

The following machines have consoles, but the identification for them (if any) is unknown:

• PDP-11/44
• PDP-11/45
• PDP-11/70
