The MicroVAX 3300/3400 systems are minicomputer VAX systems. Both use the KA640 CPU, which i) uses the KA650 Main Memory System; ii) has a built-in DSSI bus for mass storage and Ethernet interface; and iii) provides a QBUS for general I/O functionality.

They apparently differed in using a BA215 enclosure, with a 6-slot QBUS backplane, for the former, and a BA213 enclosure, with a 12-slot backplane, for the latter.

Both could run either VMS or ULTRIX-32.
